Your questionable festive gear will give you perks while traveling this holiday season.

There’s no need to pay extra for priority boarding on Alaska Airlines as the carrier has announced it will allow all passengers wearing an ugly Christmas  sweater to board early on Friday, December 20th, reported USA Today.

This is the third year the airline has implemented the promotion in honor of National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day.

In actuality, you don’t even need to technically wear an ugly sweater as the airline will extend the deal to anyone sporting a holiday-inspired look.

The offer is only good on December 20th for all flights on Alaska or Horizon Airlines.

"We know holiday travel can be stressful for some, which is why we've made sure flying with the 'merrier carrier' this time of year is an experience that brings nonstop joy to all our guests,” the company said in a statement.

“We love going above and beyond to make your trip memorable; celebrating Ugly Sweater Day is just another way we're making the holidays a priority,"

Passengers are urged to share images of their holiday ensembles with the hashtags #UglySweaterDay and #iFlyAlaska.

Alaska Airlines is going all in on the Yuletide season as they recently announced a holiday-themed “Snowplane” would be flying across the skies throughout the winter ski months.

In addition, the airline will feature holiday-themed music while boarding and free holiday movies on all flights. Alaska Lounges will also offer passengers holiday-inspired beverages, with a special holiday hot toddy cocktail available on National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day.

So grab your Popeyes chicken sandwich-themed ugly Christmas sweater on the way to the airport and let your travel stress disappear.
